July 8 and 9 - Jimmys Beach (via Terrigal)

We had originally considered staying at Terrigal but there are no caravan parks there, so looked elsewhere. We looked further up the NSW coast and discovered Jimmys Beach Caravan Park, an oasis tucked between Bennets Surf Beach and Jimmys, which was a very flat beach.

Terrigal and Jimmys couldn’t have been more different. Terrigal was wet, miserable and filled with tourists (although we did manage to find a good coffee)…Jimmys was spectacular. The caravan park was filled with trees (and very few campers). We loved the surf, the fine white sand, the sound of the waves pounding through the night, the sun and the double rainbow on our second afternoon. I hope we get to visit Jimmys again one day.
