June 29 - July 6 - Fremantle

Joel and Alex met us in Fremantle for a week. We hired an apartment in central Freo and were able to walk everywhere.

We explored Fremantle, spending lots of time in the many record stores and op shops. We visited coffee shops, pubs, the prison, the Port, the markets, the street art, the shipwreck museum and had a fun day riding bikes around Rottnest Island. We loved catching up with our friend Sarah too.

We also spent a day in Perth. It was the biggest city that Dave and I had been in for a couple of months. Alex and I went to the museum while Dave and Joel went to visit Optus Stadium.

We all enjoyed the Lightscape display in Kings Park. It was quite stunning seeing the light displays while overlooking Perth.

The week in Fremantle was pretty special, one of the highlights of our time away. We loved spending time with our boys.
