July 17th and 18th - Coondoo Mountain Campout Music Festival

We headed to the hills behind Gympie for the Coondoo Mountain Campout. Such an amazing weekend with about 300 punters camping on site. We met some lovely people and just loved the relaxed vibe. We went because Darren Hanlon was playing and we had planned to be somewhere in Queensland around that time. He was great, although his kids almost stole the show when they insisted on joining Darren and his partner, Shelley Short, on stage. Best rendition of Yellow Submarine I have heard in a long time.

We were blown away by William Crighton and will be looking to see him again soon.
